2019 Casa Teresa Ruby Luncheon Recap
Casa Teresa hosted their fourth Ruby Luncheon event featuring fashions from their resale store, “The Collection by Casa Teresa,” and several guest speakers including a current Casa Teresa resident, who spoke of her time at Casa Teresa as healing. She expressed how her experience in the program has helped her accept love and learn to love herself, something she has been unable to do prior, because of her brokenness. She says, “The moment I stepped foot in Casa Teresa, I was showered with love. Not only that, everyone believed in me, encouraged me, and motivated me. Waking up every day is a reminder of how loved and blessed I am”.
Our new venue, Newport Beach Country Club, hosted a sold out crowd of 265 guests enjoying the beautiful location, opportunity drawings, lunch and fashions modeled by board members, guild members, corporate and service partners, supporters and volunteers.
Thanks to the attendees, volunteer models, and sponsors including West Coast University & American Career College, Applied Medical, Michael Bell, Regina Hunsaker, Wells Fargo, and the Frome Foundation, the event raised net proceeds of over $73,000 which will help support the women and babies served at Casa Teresa.
